No "aviation nostalgia" for CAIR
Does anyone else chuckle when CommunityAIR speaks of its noble attempts
to preserve the airport's original terminal? When they actually thought
they could close the airport some years back, I wonder if they had the
same preservation intentions in the spectrum of development concepts.
Or, would they happily have bulldozed the heritage building for their
never-never-land to remove all evidence of such foul commercialization.
So here they go again. Just another indignant letter-writing campaign, pouncing on anything they can to smear the port, the airline and anyone who dares take a flight.
Hey CAIR, how many of you have visited the terminal or plan to do so in the future? You don't strike me as suffering from aviation nostalgia.
Yawn.
