Dear Mayor Ford: Tunnel controversy "will not die"

Dear Mayor Ford -

I have been watching City Council on TV and have an important question:  exactly why is the TPA and Tunnel question so urgent that councillors for the area have been unable to get this matter referred to committee in the required manner?  I am horrified that with a matter of such extreme importance to the City of Toronto residents and the entire waterfront, this matter is being forced through against the wishes of the waterfront communities represented by Councillor Vaughan and Councillor McConnell, and would remind you that voters from all neighbourhoods in the city turfed out a former well-regarded Mayor (Hall) over this issue.

As a Torontonian and life-long waterfront enthusiast,  I am incensed by your stifling of public information and discussion, and preference given to TPA's promotion of a private commercial enterprise over the best interests of Toronto.  Be assured that controversy over this matter will not die.
