You make a lot of good points. It would be grand if we could get together with TPA and "Porter" to discuss ameliorations to the current situation. But all we see from the TPA is scornful disregard of the citizenry, a single-sided conversation and a "my way or the highway" attitude. They don't consult with the city, let alone the people who might be injured by their actions. I'm all for dialogue and accommodation - let's see some from the sinners in this scenario.
There are those of us who believe that any scheduled airline running in the middle of the city is simply wrong. We would be mollified by a more reasonable TPA, whether we would stop in our opposition altogether is another matter.
