TPA committee must include CommunityAir

It’s going around that the Toronto Port Authority, which has been saying it will finally form a standing advisory committee of waterfront residents, has finally put together the committee, and it excluded Community Air!
If so, that’s more than disappointing. I don’t always understand your posts about technical airport issues or Porter’s finances, but I’m always glad that Community Air is keeping up with these things and other important issues, and is keeping an eye for us on the Island Airport and plans for the airport. You know the history and have the expertise. You understand the Tripartite Agreement. You know who is on the Toronto Port Authority Board. (You should actually be on that board).

I feel like the rest of us are innocents. The TPA has seasoned professionals, and they have lawyers, big businessmen and public relations experts to talk circles around the waterfront residents chosen for that committee.
To show good faith in forming the committee, the TPA must add Community Air to it, the people we count on to protect our interests and speak for us.
