Your living in a dream world! I live directly across the street (Queens Quay) from the airport. Sure i can hear the planes when i'm standing on my balcony looking at the lake...when the doors are closed i don't hear a peep! NOTHING! I don't work for Porter or have any affiliation with them.
To say you heard a plane landing from over 10Km's away is just crazy! Maybe you should all think a little before posting online. Can't believe all of you want to get rid of such a great company, it's easy access, fuel efficient planes, amazing customer service. As for the people living on the island...well i'm sure you get alot of noise...but you knew the airport was there when you moved there.
