"Many complaints about noise" at Harbour Square

QQ Resident: I believe you that for the most part you cannot hear the Porter planes when your door is closed. You must live on the north side of Queen's Quay. People who live on the south side of Queen's Quay (especially if you live in the southern half of the building) certainly can. I used to live in 99 Harbour Square and the planes frequently woke me up when they took off in an easterly direction. Furthermore, while living there, I heard many complaints about noise in the building. And these people have never posted on this website.

Second, I don't think the fact that people who live on the north side of QQ and cannot hear the planes when their doors and windows are closed is something that renders the noise issue meaningless. How about people who like to be outside and walk along the water's edge? Some people do this you know. But I do admit that not all are bothered by it even when they are outside.

Furthermore you said, "To say you heard a plane landing from over 10Km's away is just crazy! Maybe you should all think a little before posting online." I don't understand your point. I heard the plane on the beaches boardwalk. That is a fact. I've also heard it on the Leslie Street Spit. What does this statement have to do with thinking? If you don't believe, come on over and hear it for yourself! Don't be shy!
