I was walking along the boardwalk in the beaches neighbourhood the other day and guess what I heard? I heard the sound of a Porter plane landing at the Island Airport (i.e. the sound of the engines reversing.) I used to live in the harbourfront so I know the sound well. Now the sound was not very loud and wouldn't bother even the most sensitive person. But isn't it amazing that the sound traveled 10 KM? I wonder what it must be like to be living at the harboufront now? And what will it be like if traffic doubles again?
