Is it not surprising that none of the candidates mentioned the city's responsibilities and powers under the TriPartite Agreement? Were they not briefed or did their handlers simply not think it important? Two candidates should have commented on their intentions: Joe P. who, one would think, would have come across the file in his capacity as deputy mayor; and George S was certainly briefed when met recently with communityAir and other waterfront resident representatives.

Short memories? Just don't give a damn?
