Just a few weeks ago, I saw a travel documentary on TV. In it, they mentioned that in the place in question (I cannot remember where) planes could not take off until they were full. Sometimes people would have to wait all day. This is because fuel is so valuable.

Our children may be facing the same choices. And if we care about the planet, we should be doing our share by insisting that airplanes today should be close to full before taking off.
