Apology to Pollara
In a recent post, ‘If You Don’t Like These Survey Results, Wait I Have Others’, I mistakenly identified Pollara as the firm carrying out a survey for the Toronto Port Authority. Pollara did not. It was the TPA’s choice for its annual polling last year, and a reasonable, though wrong, assumption was made that it had continued.
I am solely responsible for the error. I have requested that the post be corrected as soon as possible, and I apologize for any embarrassment caused to or felt by management and staff of both organizations.
The gist of my post remains valid of course – the TPA’s polling in the past, and, from the reports of those who were polled this year, this year’s, are designed to obtain the results the TPA wants to hear, and publicize. A more balanced set of questions would produce very different results.
