Two comments re: A special place in Hell

I agree. I was disgusted with the way CFRB and odd and sundry Toronto Life life writers would fawn and fop over Porter - - under the guise of real personal experience. In fact, I don't listen to CFRB any more. Have these two organizations become dependent on shilling? How much did it cost Porter or was it all contra???

Whatever happened to John Barber? I used to thoroughly enjoy his rants against the TPA. Seemed like he was the only one that was willing to paint them as what they were. I guess he did seem a bit out of context in the Globe, and the Porter Ads likely made them more money than John did.
