A special place in hell

Given the dismal state of Porter’s financials — so bad even airport opponents were shocked — a special place in hell should be reserved for all those print media journalists and electronic media talking heads who jumped on the bandwagon from day one.
They lapped up the Porter Kool-Aid, as if it was on the house and there were massive ad buys to be had, as indeed there were. Only John Barber kept his principles and he ended up losing his column at the Globe. Most of Porter’s losses will end up being socialized, one way or another. And the media should catch much of the blame for that.
