What kool-aid are you drinking?

RE: "rarely a minute...."

Mr. Iler,

Can you explain to me how someone 3KM north of the Island airport is experiencing air traffic that is a "direct result of the massive expansion of that airport."?

1) College and Bathurst is nowhere near any of the flight paths used by Porter.

2) If you are suggesting that they can hear the Porter planes 3KM away over the streetcars that operate on both College and Bathurst then I would like a sip of the Kool-Aid you are drinking.

3) If you are referring to some other "expansion" that has gone on at the airport and were not relating your response to Porter, then please share with all of us what other expansion has gone on.

4) FYI, there are TV helicopters, traffic patrol aircraft and helicopters, police aircraft and helicopters, air ambulance helicopters, banner towing aircraft, sightseeing aircraft, aircraft transiting the area between Burlington and Buttonville airport, flights into and out of Pearson and POSSIBLY some flight training that might be using runway 15 at the ISLAND. (Runway 15 is used for less than 5% of flights so that shouldn't cause an aircraft over someones head every minute.) Other than the flight training, every one of those aircraft would still operate even if the Island airport did not exist - I hope your response included all of these important facts.

Mr. Iler, when are you going to start being forthright with the people of Toronto? There are absolutely NO grounds for the misleading explanation you provided to the query.

Joe
