Supreme Court decision "has no bearing" on past or future

Re: the Supreme Court decision on property taxes

Not sure what arrears, TPA settled the PILTS issue as part of the big 'macro-settlement' last fall. Or perhaps Community Air just doesn't believe the deal exists since you don't like it.

To be sure, at minimum this has no bearing on the past and no bearing on the future. At maximum, in some future year, whenever the settlement between the TPA and the City didn't specify an amount for PILTS, this decision will matter.

For now, the biggest implication will be deciding whether Ontario Place can stay open given the big PILTS payment the city has been demanding. Big victory there!
