One must understand that the Toronto islands belong to everyone. To protect the islands and the nature is everyone's responsibility. To see the land being abused and turned into such a horrible place is really hurting. May be one day they want to take the rest of the islands and put hotels for the airport, fill in the harbour to eliminate the ferries and the problem about building tunnels or bridges, put in private corporately owned resorts. Take the park on waterfront and turned into parking lots for the airport. Let them turn the Island Airport into a mega International Airport. They are using everyone's money to do something that hurt our own health and nature. Soon our children will not need to ride the ferry to the islands or visit the Waterfront anymore because it is not worth visiting. Think, if you think this is just about "those people" that complain about noise or Porter, you need to think again. You can just wait and see what happens and it is then too late.
