Your negative opinions about the residents who live at the waterfront or on the island are well known. Nobody disputes the fact that the islands belong to everyone - that's the point. Right now, one big chunk is being monopolised by a private company aided and abetted by a federal agency and the losers are the majority of Toronto residents and tourists who visit the waterfront and the islands. Air pollution and noise pollution is going to get worse as these two entities are hellbent on pursuing the bottom line and all for a minority of travellers like yourself.
