I agree with Mike Miller.
We need ALL levels of Government to finally work together!

Let's:
-move the island airport to the end of the Leslie Street Spit.
-invest in air scrubbing technologies to capture and clean the air shed for 3 miles around the new airport site.
-Turn the existing Island Airport lands into a nature preserve.
-connect light rapid transit from the airport to union station and interconnect with the PATH system and the electric trains to Pearson.
-build a tunnel from the Rogers Centre water pumping station to Hanlans Point, and add an access tunnel to the present Toronto Island Airport terminal.
-include the Toronto Works fresh water pipe to Centre Island project as well.
-Later, build a second tunnel under the Eastern Gap to Wards island for the new port lands inhabitants to gain access to the islands, and create a public transit link(street cars) between the old and new.
-Measure Once - Cut Twice.
