Response to "Slots are flexible"
Thanks, Kyle. we understand that - which is why we're so mystified by
the Christmas Eve announcement of 212 slots. They are even saying that
they do not need to eliminate helicopters or general aviation to squeeze
that number of Q400 flights into the NEF 28 contour.
That's not credible, given the other NEF studies we've seen.
The TPA's response? Those studies are wrong.
But they won't give us their study that, apparently, establishes that.
Even though they promised a month ago to release it in a month.
Another point - as I read the tripartite agreement, a change in the approach angle doesn't translate in to more slots. Unless there's something buried in the NEF software. Kyle - do you know?
