I clicked on the same Porter website you identified on March 9th. The lowest rate $917 and the highest was$968. The fact is that airlines have differing rates depending on the amount of seats sold that they have on their aircraft. I believe the approach that you took is unintentionally misleading. If you were to run your calculations based upon these numbers, it would show that Porter is financially successful. If you wanted to provide a more accurate picture you would have chosen the median of the high and low fares to come up with a proxy rate to estimate Porter's profitability.
