A TPA check box for "not interested in the community"

Skywatcher and the TPA Noise Summaries.  (We think this could be the title of the first in a series of books, like the Hardy Boys and The Great Airport Mystery)  ;->

We note that the TPA noise summary forms could use a few more check boxes intended for response or action to a complaint.  We suggest two:  "not interested in the community" and "curfew breach, fine the airline"

December 14, 2009 -- Time:  06:36  am
Complaint:  A Q400 left at 6:36 am... This is just ridiculous. The Toronto Port Authority and Porter Airlines just thumb their noses at us.  Why don't you just hurry up and fil in the  Harbour while we are asleep and start landing those bloody big jets.  You do not care about  noise, pollution or the  Rules.  I think we should push to have the airport hours change from 6:45 am to 7:45 am shut down at 10:15 p.m.

TPA Response:   AFTNS and security did not record comment at time noted.

Skywatcher laughed out loud at this complainant's wording and then wondered what exactly the TPA response meant.  "We did not record a comment." Interpretation:   Check "not interested in the community. "

December 3, 2009 -- Time:  23:03 pm
Complaint:   While I was watching Jon Stewart I was distracted by a Porter flight arriving after 11.  THIS is a curfew breach!  Have some respect for the people along the Waterfront

TPA Response:  AFTNS tracked a Q400 aircraft arrive on runway 26 at time noted .

Skywatcher:   check  "contact Airline and fine for a breach of curfew. "

October 9, 2009 -- Time:   1700-1900

I first notices the noise around 5:30 pm it peeked the first time at 6 then again at 6:30 and then again at 6:53.  It just goes on and on.  Loud, roaring, airport noises obviously.  Don't ask me to describe it further it is obvious it is those damn planes taking off.

TPA Response:  AFTNS tracked approximately 39 flights between 17:00 hours and 19:00 hours.

Skywatcher:    Holy smokes.  A third check box?  "Too many planes to count??"

 We shudder.
