Absolutely, make the existance of the Toronto City Centre Airport an election issue. The city of Toronto deserves to have a healthy waterfront that is enjoyed by all.We have to remind people of the environmental and financial disaster that is happening because of this downtown airport. OUR tax dollars are propping up a private business for the "convenience" of a few while the local communities are being destroyed.
We fought hard for our city's health when we drove the agenda for the Election of '04, let's do it again.
The health of our neighbours, our communities and our city is at stake. We have many more uses for our tax dollars than supporting this catastrophe.
Close the City Centre Airport.
