Another good argument for not having the Island Airport

Thank you for another really good argument for NOT having a full service, commercial airport in a primarily residential and recreational area.
Since these planes fly to other airports that ARE NOT located in the midst of people's homes, schools,boating, biking etc areas, why can't the run ups be scheduled to be done at those other airports?
