There are many more problems with the airport beyond the deafening noise.

There are traffic and congestion issues. Pollution from the planes being spewed out over our heads and onto our parks. Pollution from idling taxi's. Myriad safety issues; crashes, crosswalks, terrorism, to name a few.

And then there is the visual pollution, the airport is blight on the Island and our waterfront for many many reasons. And a big ugly wall won't help it will leave untouched most of the problems and exacerbate at least one.

What a beautiful and innovative use of a unique recourse, a wall.
