And the songs could be heard to the Island Airport

On Friday evening a good number of people turned to the CommunityAIR social at the Imperial Pub.  It is great to see that the group is as determined as ever to hold the Toronto Port Authority accountable and close the Island Airport.

Those providing the entertainment were the highlight.  Kathleen McDonnell performed along with Joanna Kidd, accompanied by Stephen and Shifra Cooper.  The second set was led by Maya and Steve-Paul Simms.  Thanks guys.  It was appreciated.

Oh, I forgot to mention Jerry Englar who joined in with a rousing rendition of "Close that Airport Down," a perennial favorite of the CommunityAIR crowd.

Special thanks to Baye Hunter and Mary Brock who did all of the organizing.
