The same day, the Toronto Port Authority issued a press release with the following headline.  Toronto Port Authority and City of Toronto reach "macro solution" to a wide variety of outstanding issues”.  The release carried the following by-line.  “Settlement helps propel Toronto's 'laceName w:st="on">TransitlaceName> laceType w:st="on">CitylaceType>' initiative and marks new era of co-operation between City and TPA”.  The release stresses co-operation in resolving outstanding issues.  It does not mention land for the TTC shed.

The comparison between the two items makes for an interesting example of how media spin works.
