According to the article in the G&M today, Porter is looking to add a dozen or so new destinations. This planned expansion plus the likelihood of allowing a few competing airlines into the Island Airport spells one thing: A MASSIVE expansion is still to come! Looks like the number of slots that will ultimately be allowed will be much higher than anyone expects.

Torontonians be forewarned: your waterfront is very rapidly turning into an airport.....

On another note, I continue to meet more residents of the waterfront that love Porter and use it all the time. Based on my conversations, far more residents of the waterfront are in favour of it than oppose it. At the end of the day, this must be respected. Myself, I am not in favour of Porter but I must realize that I am in the minority.
