The more you write, Joe, the scarier flying sounds

The more you write, Joe, the scarier flying anywhere sounds. And if I may say, pilots put themselves (and us)in danger more than we know. Pilots fly when they are overly tired, they fly when they have the flu, fly while under the influence of drugs or alchol, fly and overshoot airports because they are not paying attention. Nothing horrendous has occurred because of these pilots (except perhaps they were fired) but add into the mix torrential rain, a flock of geese or fog or sleet or a snowstorm or a short runway and I am not comforted at the thought that you have survived flying in a Q400 that has gone beyond 500 nm.
