Burying the Gardiner and closing the Island Airport is investing in the future
We should really think about the City of Toronto years down the road, not just the next couple years.
I still do not understand why the Gardiner cannot be put underground & the airport, on the beautiful island, closed. If the Gardiner is put underground, we are planning for the future and closing the airport is common sense.
If we are free from the pollution of Gardiner and the Island Airport, we will reduce the costs of public health care. Investing in our health costs the government less in the long run.
Can someone wake up the politicians? Stop pocketing money from the taxpayers and do something that makes sense.
