Further updates on Eireann Quay - our office just received this notification about upcoming construction work by City contractors to eliminate the lay-by at the south-west corner of Queens Quay and Bathurst. This work will expand the public sidewalk in this location and restore the public boulevard, and hopefully make it safer for pedestrians to cross Eireann Quay.

This work was supposed to occur in the summer but was delayed due to the city strike.
