Porter Evicted for Non-Payment of Rent

CommunityAIR has learned that Porter Air has been evicted from commercial space at 20 York Street Toronto for non-payment of $9453.57 in rent.

The eviction notice was posted on the door to the premises, located at the west end of Union Station as you head toward the elevated walkway to the Sky Dome. A picture of the actual eviction notice, taken Subday, is attached.

"For a business that prides itself on a slick image, and maintains that it is hugely successful in the difficult airline industry, one has to wonder how this happened. Perhaps it’s time for Porter to open its books to assure its customers as to it ability to honour its debts." said Brian Iler, Chair of CommunityAIR.
