Lest the people voting "Yes" are under the impression that a tunnel will make it easier to get to the Island on hot summer days and avoid the long line-ups to get on the ferry, the answer to that is an emphatic "No":

This taxpayer-funded tunnel will ONLY allow access to the Island Airport for Porter airport employees and passengers.  You cannot get across the airport runways to the Island park from the airport terminal.
