Noise is worse this summer
The noise from the airport is much worse than last summer. And as
Porter expands, it ll get even worse. And the kerosene smell is worse this
summer, too.
The helicopters, on top of all that Porter and flight school plane
noise, are almost unbearable. What's even worse is that the helicopter
noise goes on all night long, even after the Porter and flight school
flights end. I go to other parts of the city where friends live, and it's
quiet by comparison.
To add insult to injury, you light up your huge construction project
at night, so that we have to look at it all night every night. If you
want to keep planes from running into it, you can just put little red
lights on top of it, as you do atop your control tower.
What can you do to improve things for those of us who live near the
airport? We are not the penthouse whiners you make us out to be, who can
just pick up our hoard of marbles and move elsewhere.
The incident time should read "general", but when I wrote that and
hit the "submit" button, a message came up that my complaint couldn t be
submitted unless I included an "incident time". To do that, I was
instructed to hit the back key. When I did that, of course, you had
erased all my existing fields, including the message I d spent time and
thought in composing.
Not fair, guys!
