Talking about low flying planes and whether the Island Airport air traffic controllers are looking after us. I saw a floating plane on Saturday Aug 8 afternoon, descending from the west to the east, landed just east of the Western Gap, east of the Canada Malting Co. It was practically flying just above the Island Airport ferry and into the inner harbour where there were lots of water traffic. I wonder if floating planes are allowed to land wherever they want. As they are not landing on the Island Airport, I also wonder if the air traffic controller at the Airport will or can do anything about it.
