If it is true that the NEF contours have teeth, and these regulations will be enforced by the TPA and the Department of Transport, then I will have to eat humble pie.

I have been arguing that the regulating agencies will find a way around these rules.  You have argued that the NEF contours will give the community real protection.

I hope you are right.  I sincerely hope you are right, and the NEF contours will provide a control on the number of flights that can be allowed out of the Island Airport, because I can tell you, this summer the noise has been worse than before.

Let's hope this gives real protection to the community.
