Saying that the Island is comparable to Central Park is really stretching things. If anything, High Park is a better comparison. Do you really think that the Island is the preeminent park in Toronto? If that is the case, I haven't noticed an outcry about the lack of ferry service due to the strike. One would think that pople would be howling because the preeminent park was taken away. Barely a peep.
