Porter flights over South Etobicoke

Here I am in sick bay listening to the terrible scream of the Dash 8 airplanes flying directly overhead here at Lakeshore Blvd. W. near Royal York Rd. I am 6 kilometers away from the Island Airport and today July 9 Porter has flown now less than 8 planes in the span of 1 hour and all these flights under 1000 feet on the clearest sunniest day of the month. The Nav Canada guys assured me that God forbid these 80 seat Dash 8's would ever overfly the residential neighborhoods of South Etobicoke unless these pilots were confronted by overcast weather, well it's not overcast. I was not a part of any environmental assessment study that gave Porter the right to overfly our streets, or homes and our lives. I know the remove of the chimneys at Port Credit just gave Nav Canada and Porter the opportunity to change the flight path and cut the gas guzzling corner at Lakeshore and Royal York Rd. to the Island airport. At the expense of our health and well being.

(The Q400 that Porter flies is actually a Dash 8 Q400.)
