Pops, bangs and whizzers

Hey Joe

Easy to be positive when you and your dog (s) don't live within hearing distance of the pops, bangs, and whizzers etc. (or breathing distance - but that is another topic. We have dogs who won't go out their own front door and won't stay out - so frightened are they of the gun-like shots. My friend drives daily to other parks(beaches, Humber Bay, Trinity Bellwoods)with her dog.

Why don't you list all the positive things you think we should be grateful for about having relatively busy, commercial airport a block or so away from our homes?

Personally, I am dismayed that my federal government and a business it regulates does not acknowledge, care or have an interest in the impact on real, live people. However, on the positive side, I can walk to the airport - too bad I have to work and can't just fly hither and thither all day, every day. And, I guess another positive thing is that there are only 160 and not 260 slots.
