Mom criticizes Waterfront Toronto
If WaterfrontToronto states in the pamphlet their revitalizaton plan is from Bathurst Street, I don't know it is true.
At the BQNA annual meeting, John Campbell presented the revitalization plan and kept saying their plan only covers up to Spadina Ave, not further west. When he was asked what they would do about the noise pollution from the airport that impact on the whole revitalization plan, the answer was they would not touch the airport issue.
Personally I feel disappointed. Even though the money is from the government, or more accurately from the tax payers, they do not care what really works. They work on the revitalization project with or without the airport. The airport is not in their consideration at all. They care about noise from the Redpath Sugar affecting neighbouring buildings, but not the airport.
I feel so sick hearing this. It is like pouring the cash into the lake.
