POE 425 to Montreal  11:03

 

 Can i say this?  We were at AYC, straight across from the airport and the noise?  Holy David Miller!   Here is what we witnessed before the fog shut it down for a while:

 

1.  Revving of engines... wee doggies there was lots of that.. every 15 minutes or so from 7 pm to 8 pm)  and we were behind closed doors.  Take Care Joe! and other blowfish who claim there is no noise?  Seriously, you boys need your hearing checked!   We also happened to bicycle along Little Norway Cres around 10 pm when a flight was revving to leave.. there was NOISE then quiet.  Ah quiet, we thought... and  then we reached Queen Quay's and Little Norway Cres, turned right and Holy John Piper! .. we were nearly knocked off our bicycle for the horrendous brrrrrr, growl and hummmmmmmmm! 

 

2.    Shriek! Shriek! Shriek!  five minutes before every scheduled take off.  Gad. What  an assault.  We want to see Ken Lundy and his minions on the run ways yelling shoo! shoo! to the birds rather than hear this hideous sound.  Better yet... GET out there Deluce and help out  -- show us your vision!

 

3.    WAHH WAAH WAAH.. from the Ferry.. Like Charlie Brown's teacher.... this is surely an announcer who tells the multitude of cars how to get on and off the Ferry.  Drivers of cars?  You should be ashamed you do this!   C'mon TPA board members .....what a cash cow... charge these wankers $100.00 a piece to park their Jeep Cherokees on the Island. Here's a thought --  use that money to repair the disintegrating harbour walls that Lisa Raitt promised to fix two year's ago!   

 

 4.  BIG THING WE NOTICED!!!  The smell of jet fuel after take off.   We thought of  Robert Duvall and Apocalypse NOW!   Honest to God.. this was awful.  You goofy lot who think this isn't so?  We bet you would fail "scratch and sniffs"...  and by the way? we saw the POOF of dark clouds your "environmentally friendly" planes left behind.  We want to see big fans dissipating this stink .. get Mark McQueen and Robert Delluce to swoosh the runways in their "visionary" Harry Rosen suits.
