It is exceedingly crass to use sick kids to justify air craft noise. If those examples were emergencies, helicopters transporting directly to hospital roof tops would have been used.

While on the subject of medevac - is it true that required pilot practice flights are now occurring between 11:00 pm and 6:45 am because the airport is too busy during the day? I know I have noticed more activity during this period. Too bad sleep deprivation does not constitute an emergency.
