Air Traffic Controller strikes back

As an Air Traffic Controller myself, I enjoy a good laugh on this website from time to time. The amount of uneducated media spun B/S that gets posted on this website is amazing. A bunch of overpaid whiney kids living on the waterfront doesn't like the noise of a couple of turboprops. Grow up, and maybe move away from an airport that has been there for decades.

People are complaining about the economy, but when a company opens and is actually making a success in the middle of this terrible time, the un-educated (aviation wise) mob starts raising holy hell, thinking they actually know something about aviation and it's safety!

The Dash-8 that Porter flies is one of the SAFEST commercial aircraft on the planet.

Before you people keep spouting your useless and incorrect information you grabbed from some Twitter or Fox News site, perhaps you should actually do some REAL RESEARCH into aviation then make an informed decision.

As for the "Red Bull" incident, those types of flypasts are previously approved through Transport Canada, and are only performed when not conflicting with local traffic. If you really have a problem with it, don't blame ATC write Transport Canada, a lot of time is spent ensuring that any airshow routes are safe and clear of the "show line" if the pilot deviates from that they will be heavily fined, if not have their license suspended.

Again, someone blaming ATC, a classic example of someone not doing their research, and just running their mouth about something they know nothing about!
