Mock plane crash is weekend

Saw this this morning, I don't know what Toronto Island Ferry
services would be doing but if the ferry detours to the Humber for
some reason you'll know what's up.

TORONTO - If you see a plane in Lake Ontario, Sunday, don't be
alarmed because it's actually supposed to be in the water.

The Toronto Police Service Marine Unit will conduct a search-and-
rescue exercise in Humber Bay, just south of the Toronto shoreline,
starting at 9 a.m.

The aim of the exercise is to test the emergency services in the
event of a commercial passenger plane ditching in Lake Ontario.

It will last about two hours. Toronto Fire Services, Toronto
Emergency Medical Services and Toronto Island Ferry Services are all
set to take part.
