Demands of the "Clean Train Coalition"

Hello to all CommunityAIR supporters

I went to the Clean Train Coalition meeting a week a go.  They are supportive of increased train traffic on the Georgetown airport corridor but they have three key demands.
1 That their communities are not split and isolated
2 That there will be stops so the local communities can use the service at a reasonable cost
3 That the corridor is electrified so there are not 500 diesel trains a day rolling through their communities

If we are to succeed  in closing the Island Airport we need to support a clean rail link to Pearson.

So please take the time to visit their website and to send in your letters to McGuinty etal.

Please send this on to others that you think would support this initiative.

Thank you,  Barry Lipton
