Posting about trains on the Union/Pearson line

Please look at www.cleantrain.ca?>http://www.cleantrain.ca"> href="http://www.cleantrain.ca/">http://www.cleantrain.ca/ before thinking that the high speed train (or UPRL) will not be highly polluting. Through the federal and provincial governments, SNC-Lavalin, a private company, is considering refurbishing 1950s diesel engines for 140 trips a day through Toronto neighbourhoods, and this is a great cause for concern environmentally.

The City Council has asked for a GO train instead, and www.cleantrain.ca?>http://www.cleantrain.ca"> href="http://www.cleantrain.ca/">http://www.cleantrain.ca/ is requesting electrification now instead of 15 years from now.
