More planes will make the Waterfront intolerable

Porter currently has 8 planes and will have 18 aircraft by the end of the year.  Robert Deluce, the CEO of Porter, has said that if the company is successful at that level, they will buy even more planes.

David, you are certainly right that will make far more aircraft movements than ever before and will make the Waterfront intolerable for both residents and visitors.

The position of CommunityAIR is that the Island Airport is no place for a busy commercial airport.  Porter should operate out of Pearson.  It would be better for the community and the redevelopment of the Waterfront.  A busy airport is incompatible with downtown Toronto.
