Smokers, addictions and aviation
Equating aviation to smoking leavese something very important out: the benefits of aviation that we all share. Smokers suffer from an addiction that ultimately benefits nobody. Aviation carries critically ill patients to care and medical freight that permits advanced medical centers to function. Aviation carries people who make business and government work. Aviation helps connect people, making a vibrant multi-cultural center like Toronto work.
If you value advanced medical care, a functioning economy and society, and a vibrant and diverse culture, then I suggest you have some responsibility to at least come up with a cogent reason you do not want to accept the less desirable side effects of the transportation system that makes them possible.
