Your (and, apparently, your MP’s) use of an inaccurate and offensive slur diminishes you, and any case you might attempt to make to defend what the TPA and the Island Airport are doing to our waterfront.

Brian, I think you are putting words in Joe's mouth. He did not use any kind of a slur -- his MP did. He has repeatedly stated -- and did so again in the same email that you refer to -- that his sympathy for waterfront dwellers has grown since reading this blog, and has only referred to one poster in a negative tone ("blah blah"). All he's done is state that in the eyes of numerous MPs, some Islanders are not making their cause look good.

And just for fun:
