High rise are a "funnel for noise"

Bill, very good point made! A lot of industry in a little space.

I was at a little do dah the other evening on the 36th floor at Harbour Square and was quite taken aback by the long loudness of aircraft (guess who?)at that height and distance from the airport. I think inner harbour, unlike Pearson, which is enclosed by the islands on the south and, well, us to the north acts as a funnel for noise - - amplifying it and prolonging it.
