An airport in Central Park

“Please explain why the theoretical possibility Toronto City Centre might grow past a certain point makes it imperative to impose all the burdens for Toronto's air travel on Malton and Rexdale? Why must they put up with all of the noise and pollution, while the central waterfront escapes it entirely?” (Two Questions 8Apr09)

Why ask me, I really haven’t the foggiest idea? It’s a screwy idea frankly. It’s like New York City arguing they need to put a commercial airport smack dab in Central Park to share more fairly the “imposed burden” for New York’s air travel on locals near La Guardia and JFK airports.
