“seriously”? Hardly! Don’t be fooled. See the duplicity for what it is. It’s a callous game intended only to mollify temporarily. It does NOT solve the real problem. The noise source, the island airport, keeps growing at the very behest of the TPA which is clearly intent on getting the airport quickly entrenched to a point where it will be well nigh impossible to dismantle for a variety of financial and economic reasons. The token noise control measures the TPA are taking at this point is a tacit recognition of this very fact, because indeed they are just that … token.
